To the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Greece
Comrades,

On the occasion of the Greek parliamentary elections which will take place on 20th. September, and held in the framework of a process of interference and
blackmail and of imposing on the Greek people of a new 'memorandum' agreed between the EU and the SYRIZA/ANEL government and supported by ND, PASOK and POTAMI – that continues the policy of exploitation, impoverishment and submission to the interests of big business and imperialism –, we would like to express the solidarity of the PCP to the KKE at this important moment of your struggle.

The PCP reaffirms the solidarity of the Portuguese communists with the communists, the workers and people of Greece, with the confidence that it is with their struggle that they will defend their rights and materialised their just aspirations.

Por ocasião da realização das eleições legislativas na Grécia a 20 de Setembro, que têm lugar no quadro de um processo de ingerência e chantagem e da imposição ao povo grego de um novo «memorando» acordado entre a UE e o Governo SYRIZA/ANEL e apoiado pela ND, o PASOK e o POTAMI – que dá continuidade à política de exploração, de empobrecimento, de submissão aos interesses do grande capital e do imperialismo –, expressamos a solidariedade do PCP ao PCG neste importante momento da vossa luta.

O PCP reafirma a solidariedade dos comunistas portugueses aos comunistas, aos trabalhadores e ao povo grego, com a confiança de que será pela sua luta que poderão defender os seus direitos e concretizar as suas justas aspirações.
